Appellate court: Patient safety concerns led to loss of surgical privileges
The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit (the “Court”) affirmed a district court’s dismissal of a physician’s claim of age discrimination against the health system in which he was employed. The Court found that the physician was unable to show that the health system’s complaints against him were motivated by his age.
