Joint Commission makes changes to ORYX performance measures

The Joint Commission has released the latest changes to its ORYX performance measure reporting requirements for 2016. The changes were made to align with recent updates made by CMS to its Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program.

In October, hospitals will receive additional instructions on how to update their 2016 OYRX measure reporting options and the selections of measure sets on which data will be reported next year. The 2015 measure set/measure selections are to continue through the rest of 2015, according to The Joint Commission.
