A: Display your data in a useful manner. Your organization needs to display your data in something more meaningful than a tabular presentation of numbers. In the statistical presentation data, which format tells the best story? There are many formats to use, such as run charts, Pareto diagrams, and control charts. Remember that the elements of performance in standard PI.02.01.01 require that the hospital uses statistical tools and techniques to analyze and display data, including using external benchmarks if available.
