Review policies on LGBTQIA+ health this June

June 1 is the start of LGBTQ+ Pride month, a celebration of acceptance and inclusion of all genders and sexual orientations. Healthcare policies and regulations regarding the equitable treatment of LGBTQ+ patients are still changing. Discrimination, misinformation, and a lack of healthcare access still pose dangers to this patient population—and healthcare providers have a duty to respond. Here are some resources for healthcare providers to better help their LGBTQ+ patients.
