The concept of surgical attire has been a frequent topic of conversation lately, specifically the laundering of these items, which was broached in a recent Joint Commission FAQ. To address these concerns, it has been beneficial to look to key stakeholders such as the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) to determine the safest and best practices for staff.
