CMS releases final rule revisions
At the end of May, CMS released its latest revisions to the Conditions of Participation (CoP) for hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAH).
"These changes are an integral part of our efforts to reduce procedural burdens on providers," the organization said in its official summary.
This rule reflects CMS' commitment to the general principles of the President's Executive Order 13563, released January 18, 2011, entitled "Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review."
