From the AHAP Blog: Can videos curb infection rates?

Our colleagues over at the Patient Safety Monitor blog found an interesting project this week we’d like to share: the APIC Infection Prevention Film Festival.
Approximately 40 videos were submitted by healthcare workers ranging from comedic music videos to more serious true stories. One of the latter became this year’s winning video. The video directly connects the simple, and sometimes annoying, act of hand washing to the safety of the patient, leaving the responsibility square on the shoulders of healthcare professionals.
