Many hospitals have some sort of program to help curb smoking–whether it’s a smoking cessation program, educational materials, even incentives for living a healthier lifestyle. And certainly where and when an employee can smoke has become increasingly restrictive.
According to The Joint Commission’s annual report, the US has seen a steady improvement over the past seven years in patient care quality, the organization said in an official announcement this week.
The annual survey coordinator salary survey is now available. The survey looks at hospital size, geographic location, and other regional information. It is completely anonymous. For AHAP members, we also issue a free report detailing the results after the close of the survey.
